Bullying Prevention:

 

Filter language and actions - help your peers by reminding them to use their filter

   "Filters catch and protect!"

 

Screen out actions and language of others -  "Did you really mean to say..." or  " I heard you say .... that is very hurtful."

  

Share with a caring friend or adult when the language or actions are disturbing to you

  

Act to restore a positive environment

      -It is required by Law and the District policy to conduct an investigation and ACT.

      -If District personnel are told of an incident or series of incidents an investigation will be conducted.  Consequences up to expulsion may be issued. 

 

Restorative Justice may be used to reduce consequences if both sides are in agreement.
