I have been teaching at Les Cheneaux Community Schools for over 20 years.  I have held several positions, which include: 1st grade teacher, Freshmen English, Reading Recovery, interventionist, and administrative services.  I have my Bachelor's Degree from Northern Michigan University and my Master's Degree (Early Childhood Education) from Eastern Michigan University.  I earned my Reading Recovery certification from Oakland University and my Administrative certification from Grand Valley State University.  I am passionate about providing literacy lessons that are differentiated,  to meet individual student needs.  During the 15-16 school year, I was trained in Math Recovery, which will allow me to provide that same individualized instruction, in the area of math.  In my spare time, I enjoy boating and traveling with my family.
