About Mrs. Gretchen Storey…

I am privileged to have a job teaching in the town where I grew up. We have a unique community and I am thankful to be able to work here and raise my family here. I was born and raised in the Les Cheneaux Area, graduating from Cedarville High School in 1992. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Central Michigan University in 1997. I earned a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Marygrove College in 2001. This will be my 20th year of teaching and my 17th year teaching at Les Cheneaux Community Schools. I teach middle and high school social studies. Currently, the classes that I teach include: U.S. History, World History, Civics, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, 6th grade Social Studies and 7th grade social studies. I am married to my husband Mark and we have three children Alayna, Alec, and Mason. We have resided in Cedarville the past 18 years. I enjoy reading, boating, genealogy, and spending time with my family.
