Positions Open: Elementary Paraprofessional Aide & Native American Coordinator

Two Open Positions at Les Cheneaux Community Schools 

 

Les Cheneaux Community Schools are seeking applications for an EDUStaff Contracted Elementary Classroom Aide and Native American Coordinator for the 2020-2021 school year, Full-time, Monday-Friday.

Elementary Classroom Aide Job Description:  Assist classroom teacher and work with individuals or small groups of students to promote achievement in all subjects.

Native American Coordinator Job Description: Duties may include coordinating, organizing, and monitoring activities within assigned program; conducting student, community and parent outreach among the District’s Native American population; communicating with various community groups and stake holders; and supervising the ongoing operations of the site-specific Title VI program. This position will work directly with students during the school day and after school programs. The Native American Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring the attendance of Native American students and collaborating with other staff to address barriers to academic success.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience working with young children or related certificate/degree preferred
