Dear Community Members, Parents, Guardians, and LCCS Families,

We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you that Mrs. Potvin, the dedicated mental health professional serving our Safe Haven E3 site, has resigned from her position to pursue a new professional opportunity. We are deeply grateful for her service and the positive impact she has had on our students and school community.

At this time, the future of the Safe Haven E3 program at our site is uncertain due to the proposed 2025-2026 state school-aid budget. The position will be posted in hopes that the funds will be included in the state budget.

We are working closely with LMAS District Health Department (DHD), who will continue to monitor the legislative process and remain in contact with our school district as budgetary decisions unfold. Together, we will assess all developments and plan accordingly to best support our students' well-being.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we await further information. Please know that we remain committed to advocating for the mental health needs of our students and will provide updates as soon as more details become available.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Bob Lohff
Superintendent, 9-12 Principal
