SNOW REMOVAL BIDS WANTED
The Les Cheneaux Community Schools Board of Education is now accepting bids for snow removal services for the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 seasons. This request includes both general snow plowing for school facilities and snowbank removal as needed. General snow removal will be provided on an “as-needed” basis, with snowbank removal on an “on-call” basis.
Requirements & Scope of Work:
● Plowing of driveways, parking lots, and designated access areas.
● Clearing snow to ensure safe vehicle and pedestrian access.
● Application of salt and/or sand.
● Service period: 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 seasons.
● Bidders must include proof of insurance for general liability and automobile coverage.
● Bidders must provide details of all equipment to be used, including hourly rates for each piece.
● Bidders are encouraged to visit the site and meet with maintenance personnel to review the District’s plowing needs, building layouts, lots, and walkways.
Bid Deadline:
Submit bids by Wednesday, October 15th at 3:00 p.m. Send to: Superintendent’s Office, P.O. Box 366, Cedarville, MI 49719 OR drop off at the Central Office (298 E. M-134). Bids will be reviewed and acted upon on Monday, October 20th at 6:00 p.m. in the school library.
