Alumni Spotlight:
Coryell Cruickshank Rader
Class of 2003
What is your best memory at LCCS?
Sports and band trips to New York and Sydney!
----------
What extracurriculars did you participate in?
Volleyball, Basketball, golf, track, band (flute, piccolo, bassoon), Girl Scouts, Honor Society, and Yearbook
----------
What was your favorite class? Why?
Mrs. Masuga's math classes - she always made things interesting! Mr. St. Onge's science classes - I loved dissecting and learning about biology. Mrs. Izzard's art classes - they allowed me to express myself through painting.
----------
Was there a staff member who made a big impact on you? If so, who and why?
All of them. Cedarville always had phenomenal teachers!
----------
What advice would you give to current students at LCCS?
Don’t limit your options to college. There are so many great careers that are on-the-job training or workforce-based.
----------
If you live in the Les Cheneaux area, what is your favorite part about living here? If you do not live in the Les Cheneaux Area, what do you miss most about the area?
Our summers are the best! We truly live in the most beautiful area. After spending a few years living in Tennessee, I knew my heart would always be in the Les Cheneaux and EUP.
----------
What are you doing now?
I’ve been a Radiologic Technologist for 20 years, cross-trained and registered in Computed Tomography, and currently cross-training in MRI. But my true passion is Farming. Our 85-acre farm in Pickford produces hay, beef, and pork. We also board horses and enjoy all the time we can riding our personal horses.
