It looks like Mother Nature is cooperating and helping us get outside finally; and albeit a little chillier that we hoped for, it will be nice to get outside for some field time before our games this week. Until the new golf nets can be located in DeTour, we are going to keep practices in Cedarville...we're hoping to find them as soon as possible.
Here is practice and game and meet schedule...but please be reminded...changes are common and likely this time of year.

Good morning! Today, April 23, our MS Softball and HS Golf teams are both going over to Drummond Island for their respective practices. A bus will pick up them up in Cedarville at 3:00, go to Drummond on the 3:40 ferry and return on the 6:10 ferry for arrival in Cedarville at 7:00. We are excited to get our athletes outside on the field and driving range. Have a great day!!!
🎓 Scholarship Opportunity for Seniors! - The Bender–Johnson / Raber AmVets Post 79 Scholarship
This scholarship is open to current high school seniors who plan to enroll in a trade school, college, or university. Applicants will complete a short essay reflecting on family connections to veterans, what America means to them, and their future educational goals.
📌 Important Reminder: This scholarship is part of the Local Scholarship Application, which is due Friday, April 24th at 3:00 PM.

🍪 PBIS Bake Sale – This Friday, April 24 at lunch!
All money raised will go directly toward supporting future PBIS celebrations, activities, and student rewards!
This is a quick reminder that on Tuesday, the 21st, we will have our 26-27 Sports Physicals offered by MyMichigan Health in Cedarville, starting at 9:00.
DeTour students who pre-registered will be bussed over first thing in the morning and be back in time for lunch and afternoon classes.
Please make sure your child has both sides of their physical card FILLED OUT and SIGNED, along with payment. If our child turned in their money already it will be returned to them by Mrs. Baker or Mrs. Galarowic.
If you have any questions, please contact the central office of your respective building and you will be directed to someone who can answer your question. Thank you!

Good luck to our MS Track teams who compete at LSSU this afternoon. Attached is an event order and start time. Field events will start at 4:00 and running events at 4:30. Also remember, this meet will feature our 7th and 8th grade girls and 6th-8th grade boys.

Good afternoon! Your students in Grades 5-11 may be bringing home this consent form if they plan to get the school offered sports physical for next year. We are asking that these be signed and returned on Monday the 13th (no later than the 14th), at which time your child will receive a physical card. NO MONEY NEEDS TO BE TURNED IN WITH THIS FORM.
