It only seems appropriate that with the new snowfall is the start of a new Islanders sports season!
Our MS Girls and JV and Varsity Boys are getting started this week.
We also want to welcome Kirstyn Sirchoski to our Islanders coaching staff!! She will be our new 7th Grade girls coach...welcome, Kirstyn!!!
If anything should change throughout the week, we will let you know as soon as possible...have a terrific week!!!

The LMAS Health Department will be at school for student screenings:
Hearing: PK, K, 2, 4
Vision: PK, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
Please ensure your student is present and brings glasses if needed.
Parents will be notified only if a child does not pass the screening.

📣 Parent-Teacher Conferences Tomorrow (12–3 PM & 5–8 PM)
Report cards will be available during conferences:
Grades K–5: Pick up from your child’s teacher during your conference.
Grades 6–8: Pick up from Mrs. McLeod before meeting with teachers.
Grades 9–12: Pick up from Mr. Lohff before teacher conferences.
Mr. Lohff and Mrs. McLeod will be in the library to hand out report cards and attendance information.
There will be a Lost and Found table in the hallway outside of the library during conferences—be sure to check for any missing items!

🎃 K-5 Halloween Parade – Friday, October 31 🎃
Our K-5 students will celebrate Halloween with a parade on Friday, October 31 at 2:10 PM in the John Duncan Gymnasium!
Middle and high school classes, parents, and the public are welcome to join. Classroom parties will follow the parade.

Picture retakes are tomorrow, Oct. 28. Only students whose parents requested retakes will be called to the library. If your student needs a retake, contact Mrs. Baker or your child's teacher.
🚨 Transportation Update 🚨
Wednesday afternoon, there will be a 2-bus run. Drop-off times may be later than usual. If you are able to pick up your child, please reach out to Mrs. Baker. Thank you for your flexibility!


We are also happy to pass along that ALL K-12 STUDENTS from both Cedarville and DeTour will be admitted into the game FREE OF CHARGE!!!
