On Friday, December 8 LCCS will only have two buses running for the afternoon route, due to a shortage of bus drivers. This means your student may get home later than normal. If your child normally rides the bus and you would like to pick them up, please notify Mrs. Baker no later than 12/7. Thank you


We have a change in our boy's JV/Varsity basketball schedule. The game against Alpena on January 9 has been MOVED to Monday, December 18th. The game is still in DeTour and the start time for JV is 4:30. Have a great day...GO ISLANDERS!

Good afternoon, Cloverland Electric has notified many in the Cedarville area of a planned power outage on Thursday, November 16th from 10-10:30am. We are unsure at this time if the school will be directly affected. However, we can assure you this outage shouldn't interrupt our school day. If anything changes we will be sure to notify you. We have a few reminders for you.
Tonight, is the MS/HS band concert at 7pm in the John Duncan Gymnasium. Today, we sent home report cards with students. Tomorrow November 9th is Parent Teacher conferences. Elementary students have scheduled times and MS/HS parents can come anytime between 5-8pm. Friday, November 10th we will have a Veterans Day Program at 10am that is open to the public. And Lastly, this month’s Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, November 20th has been rescheduled to Monday, November 27th at 6pm in the library. The school has lost power. We plan on finishing the school day as normal. However, all after school activities are cancelled for today. This includes the after school program, robotics, and JH girls basketball practice. Our elementary Boys basketball season will begin soon. The first day of practice for our 4th grade team will be Monday from 3-4:30pm. Our 5th and 6th grade team will begin the following Monday November 13th. 5th grade will practice from 3-4:30 and 6th grade will practice from 3-5:00pm.
Please take note of our new game schedule that is posted on our website. This new schedule will give our elementary team a chance to participate in a tournament at Lake Superior State University and possibly a championship game at the end of the season. Our first game will be Tuesday November 28th @ Pickford with a 5pm start time.
