For those making their spring plans, here are the 2025 Baseball/Softball, Track and Golf schedules.
Please take note of a couple things:
First, all of these scheduules are tentative and are subject to, and likley to, change as Mother Nature changes. We will make updates as these changes take place.
Second, a Middle School Baseball and Softball schedule is still in the works and will be shared as soon as we have something more concrete.
Finally, notice that track and golf practices will not start until after the Spring Break week; but High School Baseball and Softball canl start the week of March 10 (indoors, of course). We will post that schedule as soon as it is determined.

Here is our practice and game schedule for the upcoming week. Our Lady Islanders will be busy preparing for their District Semi-Final matchup with Pickford on Wednesday. A separate post with specific information will be shared later today.
You'll also notice that next week, depending on how our girls do, indoor baseball and softball practices will be getting started. More information will be announced as logistics are worked out.

Cedarville Ski Club: tonight's ski trip has been cancelled due to declining numbers. Thank you and enjoy your weekend!
DeTour has canceled skiing for tomorrow due to the district competition being rescheduled, so there will be no bus for Cedarville riders. We're still waiting on our numbers before making a final decision on cancellations. Stay tuned!

Due to the projected inclement weather tomorrow, Les Cheneaux Community Schools will be closed on February 28th. After school activities will be decided by the early afternoon. Please check the LCCS or Islanders Facebook page for updates. Have a great long weekend!

**2 Hour Delay**
Due to current road conditions, LCCS will be on a 2 hour delay. School will start at 10:00 this morning. No breakfast will be served. Buses will pick up your child approximately two hours later than normal. Students will enter through the same doors as they normally do.
We apologize for any confusion but we have been given further instructions regarding parking for tonight's game. You will need to take the US2 exit and turn right just before the shell station and enter by the way of the service drive behind the high-school. Again we apologize for the confusion.

This is a friendly reminder that we have our boys small bal tonight in DeTour. Our K-1st grade teams will play at half time of the JV game (appr. 6:15pm). Our 2nd-3rd grade will play at half time of the Varsity game( appr. 7:15). Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled game time.

There will be NO 7th Grade Basketball practice tonight, February 11. 8th Grade practice is still scheduled in Cedarville from 4:00-6:00, and any Cedarville 7th graders are welcome to attend.

On Tuesday, our Lady Islanders will have Parents' Night in DeTour, between the JV and Varsity games.
On Friday, when the boys host Engadine in DeTour, DHS will be crowning our Snowball King and Queen between the JV and Varsity games. There will be a dance after the game for any DeTour and Cedarville students to attend. Information will be shared in a later post.
