Our December 9th elementary boys basketball game has been moved to December 10th, in Cedarville. The 4th grade will start at 5pm followed by 5th and then 6th .

All Islanders JV and Varsity basketball practices WILL BE held today as scheduled.
Lee will pick up the girls from the 1:10 ferry, take them to Cedarville for pictures and bring all the girls back for practice.
Mr. Norris will take the boys over to Cedarville from the 2:10 ferry for pictures and then practice.
REMINDER TO ALL ATHLETES TO HAVE YOUR PICTURE FORMS, MONEY AND BLACK UNIFORMS FOR PICTURES.

Due to current road conditions, LCCS will be on a 2 hour delay. School will start at 10:00 this morning. No breakfast will be served. Buses will pick up your child approximately two hours later than normal. Students will enter through the same doors as they normally do to enter the building in the morning. Thank you.

Our winter season is officially underway with our Girls and Boys Bball teams..and here is the schedule for this week.
Tuesday is our day for individual pictures for all JV and Varsity basketball players. Please make sure to have your athlete's picture form filled out and money sent in on Tuesday. Forms were sent home last week and you can also find the form here on our page. Also, athletes need to wear their BLACK uniforms for pictures. We'll remind them on Monday when they receive their uniforms.
With our gym floors getting their annual refinishing, we needed to get creative with our practice times and locations. So, on Wednesday, you'll see that all of our teams are making the annual trip to LSSU for practice from 1-3. Typically,the teams stop for a quick bite to eat before returning home; so please keep in contact with your son or daughter about their return time.
Finally, the Islanders Athletic Program wants to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving with your friends and family!!

Coaches Wilson and Andrews will be hosting a MS Girls Basketball pizza party tomorrow, November 21, Cedarville school cafeteria at 4:00. Lee can take the Drummond and DeTour girls over at 3:30 and bring them back for the 5:40 ferry. If your daughter hasn't yet brought in her uniform and practice jersey, please have her bring it tomorrow. Thank you!

Tomorrow night our 8th Grade Girls Basketball team will be playing in the championship game at JKL in the Soo instead of Rudyard as was previously planned.
Game time is still 6:30.

Greetings, Islanders! Here is our upcoming week's practice and one-game schedule.
Our 8th Grade Girls Basketball team is competing in the Conference Championship game against Brimley on Monday, 6:30 at JKL. Because of this, our practice times for Monday have been adjusted. Thank your for your cooperation.
Also, on Tuesday, we have our Annual Fall Athletic Banquet for all JV and Varsity Cross Country, Volleyball and Football players. The banquet is in DeTour and starts with a light dinner at 5:30 and awards at 6:00. Practice times are also adjusted for this day...

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL SCHEDULE CHANGES!!!
This Saturday, October 26, the games against Newberry will now be played IN CEDARVILLE so the hallway floor in DeTour can be finished. Game time is still 10:00.
Also, the Monday, October 28, game is being RESCHEDULED for Wednesday, October 30, and will be played IN DETOUR. The 7th grade will play JKL at 5:30, and the 8th grade will play Brimley right after.
