Here is our upcomoing week's Islanders practice and game schedule. We have a lot going on with practices, school Christmas programs, and games; so please give the schedule a close look. This Friday, our Girls' teams will be traveling from their game at Brimley to Gaylord for the night, before heading to Leelanau St. Mary's Saturday morning. When trip details are finalized we'll get them out to parents and players. Have a great week...GO ISLANDERS!!!

Thank you for our patience regarding JV/V Bball practices today. Practices will be help today, as conditions have improved and main roads are passable. Here is the schedule: Alan will pick up Cedarville boys at 2:00 and bring them to DeTour. JV Boys should have already heard from Coach Norris about their practice. If not, please contact him. Then, the DeTour girls will go to Cedarville at 2:30. The boys will return to Cedarville at 5:00 and the girls will be back for the 5:40 ferry. Thanks again...enjoy your day!

We have a game update for this Friday, December 6: The JV Lady Islanders will play the Cheboygan Freshmen before our Varsity plays Engadine. Tip-off for the JV is set for 5:30. GO ISLANDERS!!!

Good morning, Islanders! There have been a few minor changes to our boys and girls basketball schedules. The 12/5 GBB game with Alanson is in the process of being rescheduled; it is not canceled, just postponed. Many of our area teams are lacking JV teams this year, and we are actively working to fill the games they are missing. Stay tuned...

Hello, Islanders! We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and have had time to relax! Our gym floors are shiny and ready for some Islanders basketball! Here is our schedule for the week. Please notice that our girls' game in Wolverine on Wednesday is a Varsity only trip. Also, the home game against Engadine on Friday is Varsity only for the time being...we are working on getting the JV an opponent. Other than that, it is all systems go for another season of Islanders Basketball...good luck to all our teams...GO ISLANDERS!!!

Good morning, Our December 9th elementary boys basketball game has been moved to December 10th, in Cedarville. The 4th grade will start at 5pm followed by 5th and then 6th . Thank you

Good Morning, Islanders! All Islanders JV and Varsity basketball practices WILL BE held today as scheduled. Lee will pick up the girls from the 1:10 ferry, take them to Cedarville for pictures and bring all the girls back for practice. Mr. Norris will take the boys over to Cedarville from the 2:10 ferry for pictures and then practice. REMINDER TO ALL ATHLETES TO HAVE YOUR PICTURE FORMS, MONEY AND BLACK UNIFORMS FOR PICTURES. Thank you!

Due to current road conditions, LCCS will be on a 2 hour delay. School will start at 10:00 this morning. No breakfast will be served. Buses will pick up your child approximately two hours later than normal. Students will enter through the same doors as they normally do to enter the building in the morning. Thank you.

Good morning, Islanders! Our winter season is officially underway with our Girls and Boys Bball teams..and here is the schedule for this week. Tuesday is our day for individual pictures for all JV and Varsity basketball players. Please make sure to have your athlete's picture form filled out and money sent in on Tuesday. Forms were sent home last week and you can also find the form here on our page. Also, athletes need to wear their BLACK uniforms for pictures. We'll remind them on Monday when they receive their uniforms. With our gym floors getting their annual refinishing, we needed to get creative with our practice times and locations. So, on Wednesday, you'll see that all of our teams are making the annual trip to LSSU for practice from 1-3. Typically,the teams stop for a quick bite to eat before returning home; so please keep in contact with your son or daughter about their return time. Finally, the Islanders Athletic Program wants to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving with your friends and family!! Have a great rest of your weekend...GO ISLANDERS!!!

Coaches Wilson and Andrews will be hosting a MS Girls Basketball pizza party tomorrow, November 21, Cedarville school cafeteria at 4:00. Lee can take the Drummond and DeTour girls over at 3:30 and bring them back for the 5:40 ferry. If your daughter hasn't yet brought in her uniform and practice jersey, please have her bring it tomorrow. Thank you!

Good evening, Islanders! We have a quick reminder we need to share with you. Tomorrow night our 8th Grade Girls Basketball team will be playing in the championship game at JKL in the Soo instead of Rudyard as was previously planned. Game time is still 6:30. GO ISLANDERS!!!

Our 8th Grade Girls Basketball team is competing in the Conference Championship game against Brimley on Monday, 6:30 at JKL. Because of this, our practice times for Monday have been adjusted. Thank your for your cooperation. Also, on Tuesday, we have our Annual Fall Athletic Banquet for all JV and Varsity Cross Country, Volleyball and Football players. The banquet is in DeTour and starts with a light dinner at 5:30 and awards at 6:00. Practice times are also adjusted for this day...
